Site History and Use Advices
Site History
This site is started when I went on my big one-year-around-the-world travel. It was originally intended to be an online diary that follows my travel, which concentrated mainly in the southern hemisphere.
It grew a bit bigger then I expected, and it seems that many people read it - I hope you find it useful and interesting. Now that I am back I continue to write occasionally about things that interest me, and of course I keep the archive with everything I wrote on the travel, you are welcomed to browse it.
How to Use The Site
There are several ways to use this site:
- You can read the posts that are published at the bottom of the main page.
- You can read previous posts from the archives, accessed through the links on the right-bar at this page; some of them contain useful information if you plan to go traveling, others are just a description of my adventures.
- Pictures form a most enjoyable way to browse the blog. Every time you load the site a random image from my gallery appears on the right bar (try hitting “reload” in your browser, and see how it changes). You can click on this image to get a large view of it, you can click on the “My Pictures” title to get to my photo gallery; and some images (in the future there will be more, but making it is quite tedious and time-consuming, so it goes slower then I desire) also have a link connected to their name. This link leads you directly to the post where I describe what happened when I took this photo, so it puts it in a good context; of course, using this way you will only get to descriptions of places where I took photos, but there are many such places, and it’s a good way to start…
- You can look at all the pictures I took on the travel. They are found in the photo gallery, which is also accessible from the title of the random image on the right-bar, or from a link under section ‘General’, there.
- You can look for untemporal information, such as important addresses (e.g., the Friends of Israel in Papua-New-Guinea) and other things at my wiki.
Enjoy your time at my site, and feel free to contact me or comment in any way!
