There’s this anecdote about Einstein and the student. It goes like this: a student goes to see Einstein. “Prof. Einstein,” he says, “look, I have this notebook I keep just for ideas. Every time I have a good idea I write it down in this notebook, so I don’t forget it.” “Very well,” replies Einstein, “my good ideas are relatively few. Every time I have one, I just remember it.”
Since I have a girlfriend that lives in Haifa, I find myself sleeping there from time to time. As a side efect, I occasionaly drive from Haifa to Hertzliya in the early morning (usually, when it happens, I leave Haifa around 06:00, and get to my work - hopefully - around 08:00, after the normal morning jams on the coastal road). I did this, for example, yesterday, on Sunday morning.
It’s exactly a year today since I came back from the Holand appendix of my last travel. High time to go again.
