Some Nice Pics

Like I mentioned a shortwhile ago, for the past few months I manage to visit a lot of places in Israel, mainly in weekends. I thought it could be nice to share with you a few nice pictures from several such places - some of them I mentioned here, and some I may have skipped.

We start by a few southern sights from the Ramon area:

Here is the Hemet Cistern, which I visited a few minuts after heavy rain filled it up:

Before getting there, I paid a short visit to the Arod ascent at the western wall of Ramon Crater. Note the crater wall at the back left side.

Here you can clearly sea the crater wall. Imagine the forces that bent the rocks here!

From a different hike, here are some pictures from Ein-Gedi oasis; these were taken at the David River.

Moving a bit north, here are two close pictures of the blowhole at Atlit:

And to end this session of pictures, here are a few mosaics from Tzipori, which I paid a short visit some 4 months ago; you don’t see it here, but most of the mosaics are just thrown at the ground.
