Grossman’s Fine Speech
Sunday, November 5th, 2006Like every year (except last one, when I wasn’t in Israel), I went yesterday to the central event on Rabin’s memorial - the gathering at the square in which he was murdered. The central speaker this year was David Grossman. It has been a long time since I heard a speech on which I agree so totally, practically with every word in it - including the parts that some would claim too naive; I present here Grossman’s text without any modification.
