A New Doctor Is Born

A doctorate thesis defence was the centre of my first day in Amsterdam. The second one was dedicated to tulips and other flowers; the third one for the queen and the fourth to the city itself. On my fifth day I visited a few museums and my last half-day was well spent in the markets. This is the first in a series of posts describeing some of the major events I experienced while visiting my brother, who lives in this famous city, the “Venice of the north”. This post describes my first day there, on which I escorted my brother in one of his pleasent social commitments.

First Days At Home

Yes, I know I just landed. I also know it may come as a surprise to some of you. Yet - it is true: I hoped over to Amsterdam last weekend. Went to see some dutch, visit my brother, and celebrate Holland’s Queen’s Day. This post describes a bit of what I did in Israel between Passover and my Netherlands tour; soon I will write a bit about my visit to that nice country.
